My Fitness Journey: The Power of push-up and Dumbbells for Workouts at Home

Today is Day 11 of my fitness journey and I am working out consistently, but I was unable to post my daily workout due to my laptop issue. Today, I fixed my laptop and wrote a post about what I feel about my fitness journey

Honestly, it is quite boring to write the same posts every day because nothing to write differently every day about the same workout I do. instead, I will write the progress every month. This will help me to write about my variety of 30-day experiences rather than my daily experience. I think this will be more interesting for my readers as well

My Workout – Routine

  1. Jumping Jack
  2. High knee raise
  3. Back heel raise
  4. 50 push up
  5. Compound workout using a dumbbell
  6. Abs workout crunches and using a roller

There is a proverb “If you can control your mind, you can control yourself.” In those days, sometimes I feel like not doing exercise for a day, but somehow, I convince my mind and complete my workout challenge. It’s all about our mind which tries to escape from the challenge and seek comfort.

Power of Push-up in my Fitness Journey

Pushups are one of the most effective and fundamental workouts which should be included in everyday routine. It hits the whole upper body without any equipment. It was challenging for me to do 50 pushups every day. I fell many times but still, I continue to do push-ups. It is an amazing feeling once you complete what you feel is the most difficult.

When we hit the push-up, our core should be always engaged, proper breathing and maintain perfect form. I tried my best to maintain the form and perform full range of motion but I don’t think it is my perfect form. I will keep improving my form for my postures and increase the effectiveness of the pushups.

Advantages of Pushup

The major benefits of push-ups are they help to build upper body strength, enhance core stability, improve cardiovascular health and increase functional fitness. it can also done anywhere without any kind of types of equipment.

Compound work-out using dumbell

Compound workouts are the most efficient way to target a group of muscles at a single time. I prefer to target the lower body shoulder and biceps at a single time. The dumbbell is one of the versatile tools to use for the workout at home. it is easy to use, and cheaper. this type of workout will help to build muscle efficiently and burn calories rapidly.

Abs workout Using a Roller

Using a roller for my abs workout was also an amazing experience for me because this was my first time using a roller. It is not as easy as it is seen in the video. I felt away hard to perform this exercise but very effective for my abs and forearm. I will keep improving to perform this exercise and one of the best workouts for me.

Conclusion

In conclusion, I want to share that the workout I have been doing helped me a lot to boost my energy and enhance my clarity. Not only my body, but it has also enhanced other aspects of my life, it helps me to be active and alert while I am learning coding and video editing. Once our body is active, we can perform our best in other work as well.

I have witnessed the progress of my fitness journey till today. I feel like I have made the right decision starting this journey and will continue for as long as I could do. It is Life is all about choice, we have to choose how to live our life, either by lying on the bed or working out for at least 20 minutes.
