Mindful Meditation on the Fitness Journey

I want to share how I felt during my meditation time. I don’t use music during meditation, I just observe my own thoughts and lots of thoughts come and go. It’s tough to calm and settle your mind. I don’t have any habit of regular meditation, so my mind is so chatty. Honestly, I felt very long to sit still for 10 minutes. I will continue to do meditation to experience the positive side of mindfulness practice.

Workout of the fitness journey

It was so challenging for me to do 50 pushups but somehow, I managed to do 35 push and 15 knee pushups. It sweats me. I bought a set of 5 kg dumbbells and one roller for the abs workout which cost 25 pounds. Full body Compound workout is also effective for the whole body from leg to shoulder and back.

Today I enjoyed working out and I was progressing compared to yesterday. As I was recording my workout, I didn’t know how it stopped and I was continuously working out, After the end of the workout when I checked the recording, it was just 5 minutes. I felt upset because I could not record how hard it was to reach 50 pushups. I was so tired that I couldn’t work out again to record.

Conclusion

Overall, the workout and mindfulness practice boosted my energy for my night shift work and I am one more step closer to my goal. Besides this, I have also learned to be disciplined and power of consistency.

I hope sharing my daily routine, challenges, and solutions can inspire others to start or continue their fitness journeys, regardless of where they are or what equipment they have. Remember, it’s not about perfection; it’s about progress and dedication.
